TapNota Quick Guide
How to Use TapNota
TapNota gives every object its own digital history. Use your portal to create tags, organize items, save notes, and find details later in seconds.
1. Create or scan a tag
Each TapNota tag opens a unique item page. Use tags for tools, bins, vehicles, documents, parts, equipment, inventory, and more.
2. Name the item
Give each item a clear name like “Garage Bin 4,” “Ford F-150 Spare Key,” “Trailer Registration,” or “Air Compressor.”
3. Add notes over time
Save storage locations, service history, serial numbers, warranty details, reminders, part numbers, or anything you may need later.
4. Organize with folders
Group tags by room, shelf, vehicle, customer, job, warehouse area, equipment type, or storage category.
🔍 Search everything instantly
Can’t remember where you stored something? Search your portal by item name, note content, folder name, or tag code.

Tag codes
Try searches like:
“spare tire” → find the vehicle tag where you saved that note
“warranty” → find product records, receipts, or equipment details
“attic bin” → find the exact storage container
“oil filter” → find vehicle maintenance notes
5. Open, update, and reprint
Open any tag to update its page. If a label gets damaged, use the tag tools to reprint or save the backup URL.
6. Keep important items private
TapNota item pages are private by default. Upgrade options can add photos, higher limits, and item-page PIN protection.
