Start Using TapNota in 4 Simple Steps
The key idea is simple: the QR label stays on the physical object while the connected Item Page can keep changing over time.

Original 2" × 2" labels and compact 1" × 1" Minis use the same TapNota system.
Attach the Label
Place a label on a storage bin, moving box, tool, shelf, case, piece of equipment, document container, or nearly anything you want to identify later.

Build the Item Page
Add a useful name, notes, permanent photos, contents, model or serial numbers, condition, instructions, Item Status, or other details.

Search and Manage Later
Open the Portal to find items by name, note text, folder, or tag code — even when the physical QR label is not in front of you.

Use a Photo When Typing Everything Would Slow You Down
When you are signed in, open the Item Page and use Identify Items with AI. TapNota can identify visible items from a photo and place the result into the Note box for you to review and edit before saving.
1. Open the Item Page
Scan the label while signed in to your TapNota account.
2. Take or choose a photo
Use one image of the visible items you want help identifying.
3. Review and save
Edit the AI result if needed, then save the note.
The AI photo is temporary.
The image used for identification is deleted after analysis
and is not automatically saved as a permanent Item Page photo.
