An active tag is a TapNota item page connected to a QR code. Each tag can store item details, notes, photos, privacy settings, sharing options, and item history. You can print or re-print QR labels for your active tags directly from your portal.

How the plans work

Do I need an app?

No. TapNota works through a web browser. Scan a QR label to open its item page on your phone, tablet, or computer.

Can I print my own QR labels?

Yes. Your portal lets you create, print, and re-print QR labels for your active tags.

What happens when I upgrade?

Your total active-tag capacity increases. Your existing tags, folders, notes, photos, sharing settings, and item history remain connected to your account.

Are the plan limits added to my existing tags?

No. The number shown is your account’s total included active-tag capacity. Your existing tags count toward that total.

What happens if I activate another Amazon pack?

Tags from a purchased TapNota Smart Tag Pack can still be activated even if they place your account over its included capacity. Your purchased tags will continue working, but your portal will ask you to upgrade before creating additional print-your-own tags.

What happens if I cancel?

Your existing tags and stored item information remain in your account. New tag creation may be restricted if your usage exceeds the capacity of your remaining plan.

Which plans include item-page PIN protection?

Optional 4-digit PIN protection for individual item pages is included with Pro and Business plans.
